Phillip S. Van Embden,Esq.
Born and raised in Millville NJ, Phillip attended Millville High School. After graduating from Stockton State College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1975, he attended the Delaware Law School and earned his Juris Doctorate in 1978. From 1979 to 1985, Phillip worked with emerging casino companies in Atlantic City. In 1985, he opened his own law office known as Phillip S. Van Embden, P.C., recently renamed Van Embden, Van Embden & Giordano, P.C., which proudly represents clients throughout the region in a number of legal areas. Van Embden, Van Embden & Giordano, P.C. has grown to three attorneys and continues to serve the needs of the community. As a member of the Levoy Board of Directors, Phillip has donated countless hours to the organization as well as supporting other worthy community-based efforts such as the Kiwanis Club of Millville, the Edward Pinson Scholarship Foundation, the Cumberland County Bar Association, and many arts-related organizations and private charities.
Lauren A. Van Embden, Esq.
Lauren A. Van Embden, Esq. is a graduate of Lehigh University and Widener School of Law, now known as the Delaware Law School, with a BS in Business and a Juris Doctorate respectively. She became a member of the firm in 2006 and has focused on municipal court matters, real estate transactions, contracts, consumer fraud and appeals. Ms. Van Embden is a former Trustee on the Cumberland County Bar Association Board of Directors and current Vice President of the Edward Pinson Scholarship Foundation.
Teri L. Giordano, Esq.
Teri L. Giordano, Esq. became an associate with the firm after working as a legal secretary and clerk for more than 9 years while attending college and law school. Ms. Giordano received her Juris Doctorate from Widener University-Wilmington, now known as The Delaware Law School, and her BA from Rutgers University, Camden. Since 2010, she has been licensed to practice law in New Jersey. She has begun to incorporate the area of family law into the practice by serving as a law guardian in our vicinage. Ms. Giordano has supported the local mock trial program by acting as Cumberland Regional High School's attorney-coach. She currently sits as a Trustee for the Cumberland County Bar Association's Board of Directors.
